ive just bought a new nintendogs game for my nintendo DS lite console, but when i try to feed the dog there is no supplies list or go out option. what do i have to do to get these up? and my dog doesn't remember its name. :(

My guess is that you are still in the early stage of the game where your dog must get used to its home before it can go out. try teaching your dog how to sit, or petting it. these might trigger the next part in the game. Just so you know, I have had 4 Nintendogs games, though tricks were not my strong suit since my DS's mic wasn't working well.

Your do must know it's name and must have learned sit then you will be able to do lots of things.
I know why, it happened to me to, you havent trained your dog yet because you bought a new nintendogs game if you had the nintendo dsi you wouldve been able to save your progress with an SD (save data) card, so you have to train your dog and name your dog all over again
