What is the fastest way to earn trainer points? Whoever answers this do you have any game tips or hints?

A quick way to earn trainer points is: go to the screen where you brush your dog. Put the brush on the dog and leave there for as long as you want. But don't close your DS or your dog will go into sleep mode and it won't work. Leave it overnight, and you will have tons of trainer points!!
