I have over 28,000 trainer points or something......I havent found the Jack Russell Terrier Book or the Fireman hat. I always feed and water my dogs before the walks and I always give them a bath..........What am I doing wrong??????

The thing is, you're not doing anything WRONG, It's what you're not doing at all. If you put something red on your dog, You have a better chance of getting the Fireman Hat. I Haven't gotten it either, so keep in mind that you're not the only one. As for the book, That just pops up somewhere. There's really nothing you can do for the book, just take a bunch of walks.

It appears in any time of the game
I got the fireman's hat when I had less than 5000 trainer points!!!!!
A tip i've heard is:
When you hear the fire truck alarm wear somthing red or the lucky collar and put on the clover clock and quickly go for a walk
This does not guarantee you to find it
Only increases the posibility of finding it.
