Sounds like World 4 is what you mean. To get to World 4, you have to beat the boss of World 2 (The Pokey) when you're Mini. Then after winning, you'll fall through a tiny crack in the floor and run to World 4.

You need to have a mini mushroom ready then take out who ever the boss is for World Three then before retreiving the key,use the stored mini mushroom and retreive the key.You will go in a different path and be in World Four.
