How do I get to worlds 4 and 7?

Question for New Super Mario Bros
How do I get to worlds 4 and 7? The route on the bottom screen takes me from 1 to 2, then to 3, 5, 6 and 8, skipping out 4 and 7. These worlds are never coloured in so I am unable to tap them/travel to them? Is there something you need to do in worlds 1 and/or 2 to open up worlds 4 and 7 on the course?

Yeah, defeat the boss of the previous world as mini mario (world 3 and 6).

In order to get to those worlds you have to beat the bosses as miny Mario or miny Luigi (to be Luigi press and hold R and L then press A to chose the file and you'll hear Luigi say his name.) To beat the bosses as a miny, you have to ground pound on them. Then instead of going above you'll take the low route, and the sign will spin to a new level.
