Well, no-one knows who is older (my guess is mario) but if you played through the whole game you learn that all this time while chasing baby bowser he had a potion at the end of the game, he throws bowser's bones in there and then bowser comes back to life!

Firstly Mario is older and as for your other question, well it's a computer game about a magic mushroom eating italian where flowers make you shoot fire. It's not exactly based in reality...

Yes you can beat him as many time you want if it's the same bower ,the first bower or second bower.
