In new mario bros dsi how do I get to the red flag in the ghost house in world 3 so I can go to the cannon?

In the room with the ? Switch on the right side & the stairs, go to the ? Block. Get ready to RUN as soon as you hit the ? Block, because when you do on the other side a hidden door leading to the secret exit appears, but for a limited amount of time only. When you press the ? Switch, SPRINT up the stairs & into the new door. If you make it in time you will be lead to the secret exit.
