In bowsers castle w1 how do I get passed the bit where there's a green tube and a yellow tube?

do you mean the 1st tower in world 1? well if you do then this is how you get past it. you get to the green pipe and wait till the walls close above you. then wait till they have been closed for three seconds or so and then get in the pipe and it shoots you up to the door where you fight baby bowser.
