You don't need to cheat all you do is hold down l+r and press start on the game file, if it says 'ahh luigi' then youve done it right

You do not need an AR to play as Luigi. Just hold L and R as you select a file. If you have beaten the game, this is revealed in the background.

There is no action replay code, however if you press and hold both L and R when you select your profile you should be Luigi instead of Mario.

hold down the l and r buttons at the same time on the file selection screen when choosing a file. you should hear luigi say LUIGI!
