Saving coins in start menu

Saving coins in start menu
I don't know how to save coins after you have opened all foregrounds but before you have all of them to open backgrounds. Someone said that you go to the start menu, but that does not work either. When I go to start, it just lets me change the controls, there is no option for saving coins. Please help...thanks

As in saving coins such as...when you get them, eeven if you die you will still have them? Well if thats wut your asking then there is no way to do that. Just gotta beat the level with the coin to keep it. Then get to a saving point before dieing or something. It's a pain, I know...but it's wut we all gotta do.
