Question for Metroid Prime: Hunters

I'm on the level Arcterra and I have two of three artifacts and I'm in the main area with the broken bridge and all that stuff, but in one of the corners there is a door but in front of the door is a laser barrier and I can't get through it. How do I get through it? Please answer. ps. Please answer

You need the Magmaul to open that door! If you scan the door, it says that you need a weapon that fires SUPERHEATED MAGMA. You can obtain this weapon on Alinos after beating a mini-boss, the Fire Spawn.

Wait...Forget everything I jus said in the last message. You scanned all six spectral locks, right? That's the only way to unlock the room to the second artifact, and with that, the field should've gone down. If it didn't, there's a glitch with your game.

Oh, sorry. You've got to beat the boss, get the Octolith, evacuate, etc. For the field to go down. NOTE: The actual way to unlock the field is by defeating Trace while evacuating the first time.
