I am stuck underneath toad town where you have to somehow hit the lever but I don't know how to reach it? I read the answer to the same question and it says to use drill bros...what is that? I don't think I have this technique or know how to use it.

Ok, so I just did this so I know how to do it. You go out of the room you were in with the toad dude and go back to where the yellow pipe is. Go through the side of the pipe you can go through. After you are through just to make sure you are in the right place there will be a place where there is a little gate at the bottom where you can't go through you have to dig through it, don't worry about that for now. Go to the bottom left and go up some ledges/stairs and then go up all the clouds and everything using the spin move. Once you get to to the top cloud you will see a block with a bluish top hit it. After you do that some koopa's will come up and you will have to beat a mini-game. After that go back to the place where you had to hit the levers and using luigi hit mario using a hammer when he has the shell on and he will fly out and hit the pipe thing. Get all the bridges to match then continue on. Hope this helps!

I guess i'll add, that you need to hit the levers on the horizontal parts, not the verticle poles that rise up from the floor and water. No drill bros is nessisary. Also, If you want to exit shell mode, just make mario jump. Second. you will find the blue shell box in an area to the left of toad town, and above it, in the clouds. Finally, the drill bros is an action where you tunnel, and travel undergroung, but you don't need that yet.
