How do you get a fast start at the beginning I tried everything but it does not work please help!

To get a rocket start at the beginning of the race start holding down on A right after the 2 on the countdown disappears. It may take practice to master so keep trying.

Hold the A button when the 2 dissapears in the countdown you will get a mini boost
