how can i get wi-fi to work?

How can I get my game to go on wi-fi? I know my router works because another game I have works on wi-fi, but every time I try to get a friend code it says there are no access areas, but when I do search for a access area it shows one of them, and when I put in the correct code it says it doesn't exist, does anyone know how to solve this? If so thanks in advance

You need to enter a couple codes and passwords that your router has. Go back and read the instruction manual on the DS and it will tell you how to hook it up to Wi-Fi if you threw it away then you can search for it on the Internet. You have to enter some codes in order to get to the same frequency as the router.
