Snaking

How do you snake? Whenever I snake, I always end up facing the side barriers. Please give me tips on snaking. Also, is there really a Rainbow Road shortcut?

Snaking is hard to do when starting out. When In Fact I found this out when playing Wi-Fi and wondering why is everyong going to the side. Just Power Slide Towards one side than move to the other. Does take some practice and does hurt your thumb alot. Practice it on Figure 8 Circuit, good to practice it. Rainbow Road has no shortcuts, that what makes it so tough in other ways. In Multiplayer and Wi-Fi you can't knock people of which is annoying, unless you got an item of course. All Rainbow courses in Previous Mario Kart games are meant to be tricky in some way.

Hope that helps you.

To snake you should practice. If you don't know how then listen.
To snake you need to powerslide one direction after the other. If you are doing this and you still are facing the wall then you need to either slow down your alternating d pad, or speed it up. I found out that most people want to get the speed boost quicly by alternating quickly but you need to actually go slower.a track I would recomend to practice on is the figure 8 circut.

Hope this helps
