This is a little late, but I'll answer it anyways.

If you're talking about Seele letting you through, give her to following answers: I want to kill the Diva of Twilight, no, The Creator is Dead, and No...

That should get you through, then you'll have to fight a couple of battles then get to the sage. Hope that helped.
