Depending on the Nadder's strategy, there are several strategies that could work.
If the Nadder constantly tries to heal itself, use Slash to apply "Mortal". This shortens the battle a lot.
If the Nadder is constantly trying to poison you, this means it probably wants to combo you with Dart Storm. This combo doesn't work when you use Quick Recover to recover from poison, and then some low-energy move like Dash to always keep on your toes.
If the Nadder is constantly using Stuns and Slow to keep you from attacking very easily, then you can counter with Speed Boost, or use Quick Recover to remove Slow. Use your Night Fury's blinding speed to your advantage!
If the Nadder is constantly flaming you, unleash the best combos you can! Claw-Pounce, Melt-Char and Heat Up-Close Range/Fire Orb are some really good combos.
If the Nadder belongs to a trainer, then it's strategy may differ. Make sure to check the foe's moves, so you can get a good idea as to what strategy it will use. Then, adjust your strategy so that it's specialized for this kind of dragon.
