Question for Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness

I already saw Vaugh's orange heart event the one with the wild dogs but I can't get to his red heart event. Please tell me what I should do.

He doesn't have a red heart event. If you are offering him the blue feather, and he will not take it, check to be sure that you have the large house, husband's bed, nathan and alisa ON the island, all 7 areas unlocked (met all 7 harvest sprites), and that you have all 23 main characters. If you don't know how to get all of the main characters, try http://www.fogu.com/hm7/ Hope this helped! :P
