How do I get to mineral town??? ASAP

I really want to go and see mineral town which is the town east to vestas farm. Do I need a game boy advance and what else do I need????please help

You are unable to go into mineral town because you can't leave the town your living in but the people like cliff, grey, trent, ellie, karen and stuff come to your farm on their day off. To enable this you need the GBA game Harvest Moon: more freinds of mineral town of Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town.

I have been trying to get the mermaid but all the scientist does is take my stuff. What do I do?

While Drayl (the scientist) is in his home walk to the metal grate on the left top corner of his house and press 'a'. If you have him at 100 FP (friendship points) it will open and a cut scene will start. If you don't have him at 100 FP collect a whole bunch of grasses and give them to him ONE AT A TIME untill you can open the grate. Hope that helps!
