I was talking with my friend about this game and we both wondered how do you know when the heart events are going to happen and what are the LP requirements for each heat event.

Unfortuniatly you have no control over knowing when a heart event is going to happen based on LP or AP, unless you calculate the exact objects and point value for each of them, then if it's above a certain amount of points the next heart event is eligible (sorry for my aweful spelling) for happening.
