I am new to harvest moon ds cute. And I am goin for griffin, but the problem I have is I got his heart to purple but then it went back to black. What is the deal with that.

If one of your animals die the villagers lose alot of points with you. If you litter you lose points with them too. The only place where you can litter and not lose points is on your farm.

Hello, Griffin is a very picky fellow so here is a list of Do's and Dont's that may help you.

DO NOT give Griffin The Following Items. 1. Risotto - that's like -5000 Affection.
2. Toadstool
3. Lithograph
4. Fodder
5. Bird Seed
6. Fishbones
7. Fossil of Fish,
8. Pirate Treasure
9. Boot
10. Weed
11. Branch
12. Empty Tin

What he DOES LIKE are these things..
1. Red Magic Grass Flowers
2. Blue Magic Grass Flowers
3. Moondrop Flowers
4. Eggs
5. Fish
6. Wine
7. Perfume
8. Most All Ores

His most favorite gift to get is Fish Stew. That's like +800 Affection Points.

Of course, if you give him things he likes, his heart color will go up, and if you give him things he doesn't like it will go back down.

Possible Reasons His Heart Level Went Down:

1.You might Be Littering.You Should Do That On Your Farm.Or You Could Ship The Stuff.I Find That Shipping Weeds Gets Rid Of Them Plus You Get 1g Per Weed.Not Much,But Hey,I Get By.

2.Your Animals Might Be Poorly Taken Care Of.PLEASE TAKE GOOD CARE OF THEM!

3.You Might Be Giving Him Things He Hates.Save Before Giving Him New Things.

4.You Might Be Forgeting To Give Him Things He Likes/Loves Almost Everyday.Just Give Him Things He Loves Everyday Except For Holidays.
