Question for Harvest Moon DS

I have a couple of questions.

1. I finished the second mine, and at the end I walked into Keria's room. I heard it was supposed a heart event, but she stayed asleep. As soon as I took the sword I appeared outside the dig. Is that normal?

2. I started the third mine and I couldn't find any cursed tools. Do you have to use your hoe or something or are they just laying around?

3. I don't get the Hot Spring thing. I heard theres supposed to be 1 by goddess pond and the circus. How do you get them.

4. Can you enlarge your farm?

1. It's been a long time- but I believe the event with Keria is perfectly normal. You'll go back a second time and she'll ask for food. THEN you go back and bring it to her. She is very difficult to marry because of this, but it sure can be done!

2. The cursed tools have to be dug up with the hoe. They will be black.

3. You get the first hot spring by the circus by viewing Flora's 3rd heart event, or by having a child. The second one is by the sprite tree and will become available once you use the first hot spring 200 times.

4. You can't enlarge your farm- just your house!
