Question for Harvest Moon DS

Ok when I go to the cooking festival with my food entry I try giving it to gourmt but he wont take it. PLEASE HELP ME.

Do you happen to be trying to enter on the third year- or later? There seems to be a glitch that will keep you from entering the cooking festival. I have no clue how it's triggered- but in the third year, the gourmand asked for a pot recipe and he automatically entered what I had entered the previous year. This is a known glitch, but I've never found how to fix it.

If anyone has any ideas, please let us know!
