BIG fish and another question.

I can NOT get any. I was just wondering if there was a certain sppot or is the fishing rod (if it can ) needs to be upgraded... The mermaids friendship goes up really slow with small fish...

<BR>Also, to get the private island, I read the answers to the question already posted, and does it have to be winter? Does it give you that much without a great fishing team (say only one fishing sprite)? Thx for help... In advance.

ANSWERS

You need to upgrade your fishing rod to mystrile, but you can only do this if you have 400% usage.
To find out the useage go to:
>>farm summary page
>>your character portait folder thingee
>>and you can see the current level of your tools there

And to buy the island use the billion G's cheat:
>>in Winter (yes it HAS to be winter) hire the fishing sprite team for 1 or 3 days (they both work)
>>when they're working: if you hired them for 1 day ship a stone AND NOTHING ELSE or for 3 days ship a white grass AND NOTHING else
>>you should have 1 billion G's
>>in spring the mayor should come to your door in the morning and say whether you want to buy the island
>>you can then buy a cottage for the islang from Gotz

instead of small fishes,give leia choker or bracelet.these two gives more affection points rather than small fishes.hope this help.good luck

to get big fish you must have the duck pond, and a small fish, put the fish in the duck pond and come get it out in a few days

After you upgrade it you can go inside before 9:00 and use a mysril necklace and you should catch more big/med/small
