i got evil trees!!!!

Ok so I have alot of trees in my base ment, ad so far none of the have given me anything I have them in the apropriate place and sun stone but still nothin am I doin somthin wrong?!?!?!? Thnx for the help!!!!

It's not a good idea to grow any trees in the basement as it is a lot of money spent on nothing. The basements are really used for that season's crops and can be used to make A LOT of money like pineapples in the summer. They take like 20 something days to grow and they regrow so it is good to grow things such as pineapples and cabbages in the appropriate seasons IN the basement. Now trees can take a long time to grow and they need room. Here's an example of how they should be separated:

O= where you stand to distribute the seeds
X= where the seeds are placed

Now you need to space out the trees so if you have them like this

Oxoxoxox
Xxxxxxxx

Then you will find that they will not grow anymore than the sprouting stage. The trees also grow at different speeds. The fastest tree to mature is the Banana, which will reach full size at 40 days. After the Banana is the Orange (43 days), Apple (52 days), and then the Grape and Peach trees (58 days). But like I stressed before, you shouldn't grow trees in your basement if you want the maximum profit.

Trees don't bear fruit in the basement so if I were you I would chop down those trees.
