Please, someone tell me, that When you have a wife and child, and burneys circus comes to town, can you ever see the circus (as in, can you ever see it as a show, for at the minute it's postponed)? Oh, and when my child was a small child, I went into Vestas farm shop, and a cutscene started, my little boy came into the shop, and asked for some vegetables. Vesta allowed him to have some for free, because she said he was cute. I never saw such vegetables, and it was never mentioned again, does this event mean anything? One, last thing, on winter 25, someone comes into your house, at night, and says 'oh, there is no stocking hanging'. Where can you get a stocking from if you can get one?

Ok, the circus never goes into action it's just there for you to talk to barney and his wife,
The scene you whitnessed was just a random event along with many others in the game, they don't help you achieve much in the game but it gets you points on your farm degree.
You can get a stocking from nina if you give her wool, however you have a child now which means that she has passed away. Don't panic becuase you can still recieve a stocking if you get Galen's FP higher than 200. Once you have done this just walk into his house and a random event will be triggered (much like he one you whitnessed with your child) and he will give you a stocking which Thomas puts a present in each year.
