Ok guys... I know this has probably been submitted before. I've seen it in the FAQ in the few walkthroughs there are for this game, but I can't get the fishing rod! I know all the answers say too go to Galen's on a good weather Saturday in Spring between either 11AM to 2PM or noon to 1PM.
I've tried so many times, but the event never occurs. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I talk to both Galen and his wife, but it never works. I go back in every 10 minutes. I'm slightly frustrated.

It's in you're manual but any ways 11am - 1pm noon yes go in side WITH any tool eqiped go back out take off you're tool and go in there
when yo go inside please dont have any tool equipted otherwise your just wasting precious time
