Cave behind the waterfall

OK, so you know that cave that's behind the waterfall after you break the huge rocks with the legandary sword? What do you DO with the cave? There doesn't seem to be anything special. Please Help!

The cave is for you to plant crops in. It's more commonly known as the "super crop field" as when you use your hoe and plant crops they will grow quicker than anywhere else in the valley. You will need to water the crops on rainy days.
If you plant yams (sweet potatoes) there in autumn (fall) the crop will re-grow each day. So if you planted 30 yam plots, you would get 30 yams each day once the crop has grown.

I plant grass in the super field and I never water it but it seems to grow anyway. I then cut it down and it goes straight to the silo for the animals.
