How do I take out the fossil chip 2?

Don't understand question are you trying to find fossil chip 2 to use? If you bought it, I don't know of any way to return it, you'll have to restart game to get rid of it. Why would you want to not have it tho, since you'll never find fossil legs if you don't have it. If this does not help, please be more specific and I will try to help.
You cannot take out an upgrade. It won't prohibit you from finding anything else other than legs; it just helps you find them along with other fossil parts, so I don't see why you'd want it out in the first place.
