You fight him then the other 2 friends come. They take the girl to joe and you take the dog

Actually now that I finished the game, Ryden (I named it Voido) is my best vivisoar so far!

My team was Gaudry, Aeros, and this giant fossil rock turtle I found at the pay to dig site in the first dig site you go to. If you want to battle him go close to him and press the A button. He will get mad at you and he will battle you.
