First you should use the hammer(or the super drill if obtained) until the fossil is clear once you see it start using the rugular drill and do fast short strokes and to get it the second time beat the game and go to the locker room and beat surhead.
you have to go to the under ground storage the bb bandits should bee there tilk to doc.diggins then take rex with you to mnt.lavathrow and he should tell you where to go.
Bb boss blasted it with the gun and it became harder than a diamond then dr diggins asks you to clean it ...it doesnt work then duna comes in and blast it with her gun then it becomes a regular fossil rock. You clean it and you get it...then you go to fossil guide and you beat the bb boss
