Sorry it isn't just about the monsters even though the dragovian lord is AWESOME. This might be a long response so get ready to read a lot. My team beats the WWC easily but all there stats can't go any higher(no I didn't cheat!). Plus they know Kacrackle, Kaboomle, Kazammle and they can attack twice. They main thing is there strength. To raise your monsters to level 99 they must have rank so-and-so with +10 or higher next to it. To increase that number you have to synthesise it a lot, but your dragovian lord probably doesn't have a problem.
The number matters because +0-4 means it's level cap is 50, +5-9 means it is 75, and I alredy explained 10+. Now here is the training part. How I train is to go from the scout post on Domus Isle to the Pier where you go to Infern and Xeroph. There is a man standing near the entarnce to the sewers. Talk to him and he will ask you if you will take him to see the face on Infern(Tartarus). Now go in the cave with a monster with 500+ attack. In the cave, whistle and many metal-like slimes will come. Only battle the slimes because they give you massive exp. It is a good idea to battle with only one monster because you gave even MORE exp.
