To get the bosses on your team first you need to finish the whole game.

Then after the words go up the game lets you continue playing.

PS:the words take a while to go up so you might want to play a vidio game while you wait.

Then go back to all the places where the bosses were and battle them win and they will join your team. Hope it works for you it did for me!
