Along with Pearl, Diamond marked a huge milestone in the history of Pokemon: it was the first core series Pokemon game on the DS. Diamond introduced 107 new Pokemon, but that number means little when you consider that a dangerous amount of those were legendaries or cross-generation evolutions. Diamond is heavily hindered by it's slow engine and bugs, the storyline is disappointingly short and un-engaging, however it is redeemed by how incredibly comfy and lovable Sinnoh manages to be. Diamond's biggest folly comes in the form of being introduced in the same generation as HGSS, which singlehandedly made Generation IV one of the worst the franchise has to offer. Overall, it's only worth your money if you're patient, otherwise, I'd advise passing it up.
