Now after you've beaten the first part of the battle there will be a cut scene where Chibiterasu will look at a mirror. His reflection will suddenly change and the battle will start. Now right from the start Dark Chibiterasu will will use the Celestial Brush on you. To stop this quickly draw a line through what Dark Chibiterasu is drawing. Now head on attacks work pretty well here so go in for the attack. Though your Dark self will pull a few tricks like setting himself on fire. This is where you'll have to use your brush, but if your not fast enough he'll stop you by drawing a line though your drawing. In another words just about anything you can do he can do as well. Now just keep attacking with your weapon and you'll notice he'll do the same. His weapon however is different from your own which gives you an advantage. When he uses his weapon it'll send crystals flying at you. Just use Slash to quickly send them back at him. Now just keep attack him close range until there is a purple glow around him. This is where your going to have to dodge and fast if you can. Once the purple glow is gone though you can attack him again. Now it doesn't take him long to change from surrounding himself with fire to ice. Just just draw a line from an ember that should be laying around nearby to him, or use Inferno on him. This will stun him and let you attack him again. Now keep up the attacks until he uses Sunrise which instead of making things bright, turns the whole room dark. Now all you'll be able to see is his glowing red eyes. Before you can bring the sun back with your own Sunrise you'll have to attack and stun him for a moment. You'll just have to attack him head on and it should be easy to stun him. Now while Dark Chibiterasu is stunned use Sunrise as quickly as possible. Doing this will bring back light into the room so you can fight him again. Now go back to attacking him though watch out he has another trick up his sleeve. He'll jump in the air and spin which can do some pretty good damage to you if you don't dodge or stop it. As soon as he does this attack use slash on him and that should stop him in his tracks. Now go back to attacking him with your weapon. Now he'll get faster and Kuni who is on his back may attack more so you may have to do a lot of dodging. Just keep on doing what you've been doing. After you've done more damage he'll plunge everything into darkness once again. Again all you need to do is attack him head on and stun the little evil puppy. Now use Sunrise and bring the light back. Now Dark Chibiterasu might take to running around the walls. Wind should send him crashing down to the ground, if not though just dodge his attack. Either way he'll be stunned and you can attack. Now he'll also start using lightning to surround himself, just use wind to blow it away. He'll also use his weapon some more just use slash to send his attack right back. Now after some time attacking him he'll turn the area dark again. Just do what you did before and you'll be fine though you may have to dodge a couple of attacks. Now bring the light back and attack him. Now you may have to go through on last time of him bringing darkness but right after that you should have won the battle. Here there will be a cut scene and the sad part of the game. Kurow will show up and volunteer himself as Akuro's vessel. This is a trick which he uses to stop Akuro from doing anything. Now he'll tell you the only way to stop Akuro is to kill him while hes inside him. You'll now have to use the slash attack on Kurow to kill Akuro. This marks the end of the battle and the game, though there will be a long cut scene after this.
Yep your finally able to fight Akuro though I'm breaking the battle into two parts to make it easier to read. This battle will be right after the battle with Kurow so theres no way to stock up on items. Now the battle starts with a fairly long cut scene once you get through it the battle begins. Now the first thing you'll notice is that Akuro has a pair of hands. You'll have to watch out for them because they'll grab and smash you if you let your guard down. This first little part of this battle is fairly easy once you know what to do. Akuro surrounds himself with flames, ice and lightning. To get past this use wind on the flames and lightning. If you know the Celestial Brush technique Inferno use that on the ice. This will stun him and give you a chance to attack. After doing this a couple of times Akura will start charging an attack. The only way that I found that will stop this attack is to use slash on his mouth as much as you can before he can fire the attack. Now this is where the two hands come on at. You'll have to use Slash on Akuro and dodge the hands while their trying to grab or smash you. Now if you attack the hands enough you'll see a U appear on them. Do not draw the U like a well U instead draw it upside down. This should stun the hands which will let you go back to using Slash on Akuro. Hopefully you can stop the beam of darkness before he can fire it. If he does fire it it's near impossible to dodge and will heal him. Now once you've stopped the attack go back to fighting him. He'll keep up the fire, ice and lightning thing so it'll be easy to stun him by following the earlier steps. Now just keep up attacking Akuro and dodging the hands until you get to the next cut scene.
Well this could be considered part of the final battle but I decided it would be easier to separate it. Now you'll need as many Holy Bones as you can get and if possible upgrade you weapons. Also you should get some Infinity Inks if you can get them as well. In this battle we'll have to fight our friend Kurow. He attacks using his reed flute which doubles as a sword. Now you can attack him head on but hes fast and can sometimes do damage before you have time to react. Another way is to dodge till Kurow tires himself out leaving him open to attack. I would suggest trying to balance your dodging and attacking so you do the most damage to him and the least damage can be done to you. Using your brush on him can help you deal the damage without getting to close to his blade. Now after you've done enough damage Kurow will say it's time for him to stop holding back. This is where things will get just a little harder. The best thing you can do for this part of the battle is to dodge and send the swords he tosses you back at him with Slash. This will stun him and let you attack without any trouble. Now just keep dodging and attacking him until he says something else. Now he'll fly up into the airand no wind won't blow him down so don't bother with that. Just wait until he tosses swords down at you, when he does use Slash to send them back at him. This will cause him to fall to the ground stunned. Now do as much damage as you can before he comes to. He'll stay on the ground for awhile so you can attack him for a bit. Though I suggest you stick to dodging until he either throws swords at you which you can send back at him, or until he gets tired from attacking to much. Either way he'll be stunned long enough for you to do some damage. Now just keep this dodging and attacking up till you win the battle. After you've won there will be a cut scene and you'll be sent right into the next battle.
Well this battle literally starts with a race against time. You should have lots of Holey Bones with you as well as lots of Spirit Ink cause this battle is the hardest one so far. When the battle starts you have to run up the legs of what amounts to is a giant robot called Daidarabotchi. Now you have only have five minutes from when the clock starts to get to it's head where the control panel is. On the first leg you won't have any trouble getting up it. Though you'll find a point partway up the leg that you'll have to draw a line from you to the flower thats hovering over the other leg to keep going. As you start to climb the second leg King Fury will try to slow you down by zapping you with lightning. To counter this just use wind to blow the thunder clouds around him away. Now when you get to the top of the leg you'll see a treasure chest. If you think you have enough time you can grab it if not keep going. You'll be inside part of the robot and this is where you may lose the most time. Inside are blue things that you need to bounce on to get up the ledges. There are also other treasure chests to tempt you. Now it is possible to get them all and get to the head in time. I don't recommend going after them though unless you have just over two minutes left. Now once you have gotten past that part you just run to the top of the head. There will be a short cut scene and then the real battle will begin. Your partner will have to stay at the control panel throughout most of this battle, so you'll have to do your best to protect him from attacks. If he starts to go low on heath all you need to do to heal him is put him on your back then put him down. Now King Fury will fly into the air and try to zap you with lightning. Again all you need to stop this is use wind to knock him down. This will give you a chance to attack him with your weapon. Now if he trys to dive at you from the sky more wind should stop that attack or you can use slash. If he goes to the side of the robot's head and turns purple you have a chance to attack him. Just be careful though cause you'll have to jump back and up to dodge this attack. To dodge this attack you will have to time your jump just right or you'll take damage. Now keep attacking him with your weapon and knocking him down from the sky using wind when he trys to zap you. Now after you do this for a little while he'll fly into the sky and there will be a purple mist around him. This is his evil power showing. Just draw a line from Kurrow to King Fury when this happens. Kurrow will drain King Fury's evil power from him causing him to fall to the ground stunned. Take this chance and do as much damage as you can to him. Now just keep attacking him following these steps. It shouldn't take him long from here to go to what is the final part of the battle. King Fury will split himself into two. Now you have to worry about attacks coming from different sides of you. Now it's a lot harder to dodge or attack you may also find that your partner may get knocked away from the control panel. Just pick Kurrow up and take him over to it and set him down. This will keep you from getting hit by the robot's hand. Since it comes down when Kurrow is away from the panel to long. Now around this time King Fury(s) will also start tossing what appears to be exorcism slips at you. To get rid of these just use the slash attack, but leave at least one up until he throws it at you. When he tosses it use the slash attack to send it flying back at him. This will send him to the ground giving you a limited time to attack. Now just keep following these step until you defeat him. After the battle you'll have to use slash to cut the evil spirits out of his body. He'll now be the ghost Sugaware who is also from the Moon Tribe like Kurrow. The last thing you'll have to do is use Cherry Blossom on him to give him a proper send off. This will mark the end of the hardest battle so far in the game.
Well the stage is set for the forth battle. For this boss battle I highly recommend having Holy Bones and Spirit Ink. This boss battle is a lot tougher then the others. You'll also be fighting with a new partner, Kagu. In this battle you'll be facing not one but two demons. When the first one appears you'll think this will be a piece of cake, until it controls a giant puppet. Now the first thing to watch out for is the whirlwinds which you'll have to find a way to dodge. The puppet while your dodging the whirlwinds will toss a giant gear at you. Just use your Slash to send it flying back at it. Now it'll most likely swing at you with it's hands so you'll need to jump back fast. Now just keep dodging the whirlwinds and send the gears back until you stun it. Here you will have to play a little game of connect the dots on it's body. You will have to start from the dot that first appeared and connect them in order. After you've done this your second opponent will appear. Once again it'll jump into a giant Puppet. This like the last one will use whirlwinds though it also will toss nets at you. While you dodge this you may miss the gear so you might wanna go in close and attack it some. After you've done damage to this one and it's become stunned you will have to do the connect the dots again. Problem is theres ice around the dots. This is simple enough to get past. Just draw a line from one of the torches and drawn a line around to the dots. Now the ice will be gone and you'll have to connect the dots in order. Now the puppet will grab Kagu off your back and place her on it's shoulder. To get her back you'll have to make a Cherry Bomb just as it's swinging it's arms. This will stun it once again though hitting gears back at it work as well. Instead of connecting the dots though you'll have to run up it's arm and grab Kagu. While your on it's shoulder you might as well take the chance to do some close range attacks. Now just as it's's about to come to try stunning the puppet again with another Cherry Bomb on it's hand before it can snatch Kagu again. After you do the next set of connect the dots you should have defeated this puppet. Just when you think it's over the two demons will come back with a combined puppet. Now there will be a short cut scene and then the battle will start again. Again you'll have to watch out for whirlwinds and nets, as well as being smacked around and your partner being taken, on top of that it'll also will breath fire. This is where things get hard. This puppet seems to attack a lot faster then the other two making it harder for you to attack. Try to get in close to attack it or use the Cherry Bomb so you can stun it. Now this time when you stun it you'll have to deal with evil spirits covering the dots. Never fear though Kagu can get rid of them. Just draw a line from her to the dots to get rid of the spirits. Now again just connect the dots just like before. You'll have to do this at least one more time for the battle to near it's end. Now the demons will be on the shoulders of the puppet. Kagu will now do the Dance of Exorcism. Now all you need to do is use Cherry Blossom on the demons on cue. Once you've done that you've finally beaten this boss battle.
This battle you'll have a different partner who will help out, Nanami the mermaid. In this boss battle you'll be up against the Catfish who thinks hes a Carp. The boss's name is Bullhead and hes not much harder to beat then the others. You'll need some Holy Bones and an item that will refill your ink pots though. In this battle you won't have much room to move since your stuck on a small island until Bullhead swims to a different one. The battle starts when Bullhead circles the tiny island your on. You need to keep your eye on him while he does this. As soon as he dive underwater get ready to use your brush. He'll come up and rush at you with his mouth wide open. Now use the Celestial Brush to draw a line from his tongue to the flower above you. Next use the slash attack to stun him. Now go at him as long as you can with your normal weapon. Careful though cause he'll fall on top of you if you don't watch out. After doing this a couple of times he'll swim to another island. Draw a line from Nanami to the island. The Catfish will try to stop her by jumping up and body slamming her. To stop him just use slash on him while hes in the air. Once Nanami is safely on the island draw a line from you over to her. This will send you over to the island where the battle will start again. Now just hook Bullhead onto the plant above this island like you did with the one before. Just keep repeating these steps until you defeat the overgrown fish. It should be easy once you get the hang of what your doing. Right after the battle Bullhead is to stubborn to give up. So you'll have to use your slash attack on it a few times with Kuni's help. After this your battle is completely over and you'll be sent rather suddenly to a new area.
This time you'll be up against the Witch Queen. Shes a bit harder to beat the the frog guy was. This battle I suggest you have at least one Holy Bone S. The Witch Queen wields two butcher blades, which makes it impossible to attack her from the front. Instead you'll have to dodge her attacks and attack her from behind. A little ways into the battle she'll summon portals that demons will come out of and a switch. This is where your partner comes in at. You'll have to have your partner to stand on the button to make the portals disappear. If you don't then the Witch Queen will inhale the demons and heal herself. At least twice during that battle you'll find that she'll move the button and break the ground around it. This is an easy fix, just use the Celestial Brush to trace around the hole and restore it. After that move your partner over to the button again. When your partner stands on the button just keep attacking the Witch Queen from behind. You shouldn't have much trouble beating her as long as you can keep her from healing herself. Just beware of her charge attacks, she is pretty fast so you may have trouble dodging. Other then that she should be pretty easy to beat.
When you go up against the first boss you'll have to attack it with your main weapon at first. When you've done enough damage it'll leap up into the air. This is your chance to use the Celestial brush technique Slash. You have to wait till you see the frog's bellybutton, when you do use slash on it. The third time this happens however there will be a shell on his bellybutton. This is easy to get past. When he jumps use the Bloom technique on the shell, this will cause it to fall off. Now just use slash one more time on it's bellybutton. Every time you use slash you will knock out a fruit. You'll have to guide your partner over to them, then over to small pools of water to the right, top, and left parts of the screen. Once you have all the fruit out and in the pools just go ahead and finish off the frog using your main weapon.
