Items and stuff hints and tips for Mario Kart DS

Items and stuff

All of the items in this game and there effects are as follow:

Red Shell:Hits the kart in front of you if you are in second or worse.NOTE: does not allways work.

Green Shell:Goes in a strait line and does not follow any kart.

Blue Spikey Shell:Knocks out the leader.NOTE:can only get when your in fifth place or lower.

Star:Makes you invincible.

Mushroom:Gives you a smal boost.

King Mushroom:Gives you infinite boosts for a limated time.

Bullet Bill:Makes you a Bullet Bill and knocks any karts that you you hit and makes you invincibale and gives you a boost.

Banana:Makes any kart that runs over it spin out.

Tri Banana: Gives you three bananas and makes any kart that run over them spin out.

Tri Red Shell:Gives you three red shells.

Tri Green Shell:Gives you three green shells.

Bob-om:Gives you a bomb.

Blooper:This is one of my favorites.It puts some ink on the other racers ahead of you.

Boo:Another one of my favorites.It makes you invisible and takes an item from another racer. NOTE:does not always work you might not get anything so use it when you have to or you want to get an item from another racer.

That was all the Items now the hard part.

Drift Turbo:To do a drift turbo you must know how to drift.To drift you must hold the R button on a turn.To do the turbo you must drift and then press the right and left button on the D-Pad back and forth until you see red sparks coming out of the back of the kart.

Snaking:To snake you must dift back and forth and get the turbo from the drift.

Super boost: To do a super boost at the start of the race you have to hold the gas button when you hear the beep from the the 2 marker and you see the engin grow.NOTE:if you don't do this right you will smoke the engin.

If I forgot anything please post what I forgot because I beat the game and got all the racers and almost all the missions.

That took like half an hour to right just the items and like 20 minuets to right hte stuff.
