Weevil answered:

Probably not. I've tried jumping into that giant spinning pot from the higher levels of Goron City, and Link wouldn't fall in at all.

Ryuzaki answered:

There is a heart piece in there. To get it, You need to light all the torches and it will begin to spin (wildly), and you throw a bomb inside the pot (timing is key here), it will explode, and out comes your heart piece.

Sacred_Light answered:

You can phisically jump inside but if you throw a bomb inside it it will explode and you will get a heart piece

Guest answered:

You can jump in. It just sends you back to the entrance. Throw a bomb in for a heart piece.

Guest answered:

good to know, it spit out rupees, then bombs and i was like what the heck and gave up... so third time for the heart peice got it
Guest answered:

The heart peice is determined by which face is facing the staircase when you throw the bomb in Smile

Guest answered:

After using Darunia's torch to light the rest, causing the pot to spin, one may throw bombs or a bomb flower into the pot for three different effects. If the pot turns it's smiling face towards the camera, the heart piece and red rupees will come out. Anytime after getting the heart piece, the smiling face will yield a purple rupee and red rupees. Alternatively, if the pot stops on the neutral face, three bombs will usually come out; on the angry face, three green rupees will be shown. If Link attempts to jump in the pot or throw bombs before causing it to spin, the object will bounce off, as there is a physical barrier that is only dispelled by lighting the surrounding torches. After doing so, however, Link can actually physically jump in the pot from the platform suspended at the top of Goron City. This will cause him to lose one heart and be transported back to the entrance of the city.
