What you do is if you want to get all of the characters there are 2 ways pf doing it.
You can either go though the story modes or go on survival and when your fighting new characters will come out.
You have to eliminate them to unlock them for example when you have eliminated 50 characters Ken Shamrock will come out.
No you can't get Dude Love I don't know why, you just can't.
My best guy is my own created person.

My best guy is the officer I made with Big Boss Man's Old Outfit.
You can get RVD, Shane, King, Ken Shamrock, HBK, Cactus Jack, And others.
The way I made Dude Love was to clone mankind and take off his mask and put dude loves clothes on him.

The best guy would probally be Stone Cold because you can do his special alot before it runs out.
