Ok I have been trying to do this forever, and I never seem to get it! I have been trying to get my Pikachu to learn surf. I know you have to beat Round 2 of Prime Cup's Master Ball division using Pikachu (from Poke'mon Yellow, of course) in every battle. But here's my trouble, I have heard you need to beat Master Ball division without using any continues but some others are saying you can beat the Master Ball division with continues. What Poke'mon can you use rental or your own?
Next, what Poke'mon do you reccommend I use and what attacks should I teach them? Unless it's rental.

You could try the rental Pokemon, and you could try your own Pokemon, because if you have to use one of them, then they will tell you, I also recomend trying to use Pokemon that will have strong type advantadges against the Pokemon you have to face. You may want to try bringing your own Pokemon, if they are stronger then the rental, if not then try the Rental first, I belive you can use continues, though I am not 100% sure on that, so you should try that, then if you are still not able too, then you have to try without continues.
