How come the cheats on adventure mode doesn't work

I had all cheats in and they wont work on adventure mode so does that mean it has to be on track mode????

No, most of the codes don't work for Adventure Mode - that's just the way the game is...

Yes I had the same problem on most codes. Like one was to long for me to type in the space needed. Some codes don't work on adventure mode, and I think the others will work on track mode, but not all of them.
