To make flint and steel, you need flint (destroy gravel a few times) and iron. You may have seen some Minecraft let's plays where they go to the Nether, but unfortunatly, there is no Nether in PE. I mean, you could just want to burn down trees but I doubt it. Well, I hope that's the case so this helps you. I seriously hope it does. :D
