To get wheat you need to hit long grass and get seeds hen make a hoe hit the ground with the hoe plant the seeds.[on grass]then next to it dig a hole aslong as the planting area.get a bucket fill it with water and fill in the hole.then when it gets bigish and goes orange at the top mine it.

To make a portal you need to find 3 dimond and 2 sticks and make a dimond pick axe.[dont use gold a xe to get it because it sucks]then get water to hit lava and not lava to hit water our it makes cobble stone.when water hits lava it makes obsiden and you can mine it only with a dimond pickaxe.[youwill need 10 blocks of it and then put 3 across and four high the get a block of flint[from mining gravel]an 1 iron ignot and make a flint and steel.set 1 block of obsiden on fire then it turns purpal then stay in the middle for about 10 seconds and you get trandsported to the nether.not the best place there are zombie pig men and massive ghosts that spit fire balls that kill you in 1 hit but if you mine netherrack then place it at any where and light it with a flint and steel and it will stay on fire until put out.[you can put it on your house and it's easy to find]

In pocket, you can't make a portal lol

You just tap on he block nearest water

If you only have pocket edition you are right you can't make a portal or there are no buckets either but the new update does have weat and is usually on sand x

There is no nether in pocket edition. But to make a portal in other versions of minecraft (PC, X360) you make a line of 4 blocks of obsidian, then on top of the end pieces you stack 4 more blocks of obsidian, then fill the gap at the top. If done correctly, you should have a hole that's 3 blocks tall, by 2 blocks wide. Light bottom with flint and steel.

In order to make a portal you must take flint and steel and opsidian make the opsidian 4 blocks wide and 6 blocks high and wheat is found by farming and seeds are found by hoeing they will drop.

On PE, the grass doesn't need to be long, because there is no long grass on PE. All you need to do is make a hoe out of any material, but I would suggest a wooden one, because it's the easiest to make, and this isn't a gold-needed activity. It's not worth it. So, with the hoe, just touch once on any piece of grass. If you're lucky, you'll will see these little dots come out of the grass. Those are wheat seeds. Just go over them and they'll go in your inventory. Then, if you have a farm, great. But, you can do this anywhere. Just touch on the grass or regular dirt with a hoe, and the dirt shall become a darker dirt, like it's fertilized. Then just put the seeds in. (by having them in your hand and tapping on the dirt that you fertilized) it needs torches at night to grow faster, but you can't be by the wheat or see it in order for it to grow, because the system can't refresh the I you're without it not on the screen. It will take a few Minecraft days.
