If someone helps you, say by filling an order on your boat or reviving a plant, there will be a little envelope icon next to the thing the helped, press this and a letter will be sent to them, you are not able to write the letter though, it's just default, hope this helps you!

You help people by going into the friend bar and if they have a ! In a box click on it then look around for the ! In the box then click on it it will tell you what they need help with and if you can help them help them andd if you cant just click the home button

to ask for help you have to have a plant that needs revived or a boat order that needs filled when someone helps you fill it or revives it there will be an envelope on it you click on it and it will send a thank you letter to the person that helped you an no you can't write the letter

Turn off ur phone then turn it back on and go back on hay day and the letter should be there i had the same problem.

How to send a letter to someone in hay day without planting a tree or whateverGuest answered:
You have to have a plant that needs water/reviving or help with a ship/boat shipment. If someone helps you revive your plant or finish your shipment/boatload, there is an icon next to their profile picture, whatever it may be, of a letter. When you click on it, it sends a letter, which you cannot write on, to the person who helped you. Your letter has a thank you and a gift card for buying boxes with Diamonds and statues in it. You can help other Hay Day farmers with their wilted plants and boatloads of stuff, and you may get a letter, too!
