Just plant something or feed the animals to get the rare things like marker stakes. It's very rare. Or find it in the newspaper and check of anyone who sell rare things.

If you want marker stakes, you have to stop stock piling other rare items. To the polayer above who has 107 land deeds, 150 mallets, you have to sell these, get down to the amount you actually need and heyday will balance with your missing items. It’s an algorithm in the game specifically designed to stop stock piling. I learned the hard way like you, but you have to sell what you have more than you need of and your bolts, screws, stakes will start arriving

Are you serious? Uau, I never knew that. So, if I sell the items I have the most, the game will balance those to me? Are u sure this is gonna work?

If you're connected to Facebook, add a page called "hay day Trading." There's TONS of ppl that are willing to add you through Game Center or Facebook and will trade you land upgrade materials for building materials (or vice versa) highly reccomded!'

I struggle in all building and expansion materials, except for mallets and bolts which I am overflowing with. I would also like to know an easier way to do this as I have no room to help my farm grow!

I pretty much NEVER get land stakes and duct tapes.
I do get a ton of nails and some bolts though.
Another player in my neighborhood tends to get a lot of items I am always short of, and NEVER gets nails. We now work very well together and trade these items on daily basis.

I asked hayday (messages) why I am short on lots of items but tend to find my self drowning in duct tape.The reason they do this is actually really smart,they either want you to purchase with diamonds,diamonds are really rare so many people buy with actual money.But what the lady told me is they try to increase trading soo yeahhh.Guest answered:
Plant a bunch of wheat and when it is ready to be harvested shake your device up and down as you harvest your wheat you will get free stuff

So if you want 500 000 gold. You should buy a slot in your road side shop and sell 5 wooden panels and then once bought you get the money, guess what didn't work. I was livered. Fair warning don't use that cheat

I am a daily player of heyday have found you will get more of the item you are needing if you are not hoarding on the others....this was my problem...I had 75 of one...50 of another...and never any deeds..or bolts...make it a more even ratio and unwill see more fall. Wheating is best way to advance fast...plant plant plNt....sell cheap or whatever of the surplus. On the event days you can rack up.
