Why did the "Expand for 7 neighbors"option disappear just after I got 7 neighbors?? Is it some kind of trick?

Because it simply blocks the option for you to now buy the new size for coins rather than gems.

That answer doesn't even make sense. You can always expand for coins. If you can expand with 7 neighbours, why then when you get 7 neighbours does it not have that slot option anymore?

For example right now I have a slot that states that I can expand to 14x17 for 15 neighbours or another slot that says I can expand to 14x17 for 40 gems. So why will the 15 neighbour option be gone when I get 15 neighbours? That's like false advertising!

When I had expand for 15 neighbors it was gone after I got that many.. So I am not sure why it did that!

You can always expand your store size for gems. If you want to use coins to expand your store size, though, then you have to have a certain amount of neighbors. You should see 2 options for each size, one for gems and one for a certain amount of neighbors. When you get enough neighbors, the neighbor option should turn into a certain amount of coins you need. I have 51 neighbors, so all of mine are either coins or gems now. For example, if I want to expand my store to 14x17, I can either pay 40 gems or I can pay 1,000,000 coins. At one point, that 1,000,000 coins was a certain amount of neighbors, but I've reached it.
So basically, you either use a large amount of gems to expand or you wait until you get enough neighbors and then you use coins.

You don't trade in neighbors. It's simply telling you that you need a certain number of neighbors before you can expand. Once you get that number you must also be at the correct level (or above) and have done all the previous expansions.

That is so annoying! I mean, if I am going to expand for the value they have given me, why does it matter how many neighbors I have? So not only do I need all those neighbours and waste all my data time inviting and accepting invites....I have to pay for it anyway! This is misleading. Over all the game is good but the prices for expansion are ridiculous. When it 1,000 000 for say 14x whatever size...it's actually adding like 2ft to the perimeter. I mean for 1,000 000 coins I should be able to purchase the size it says, not just expand to it. #!$*!
