Keep ordering the same clothes. Sometimes you will get money and somtimes gems. If you order a lot of clothes that are finished in 2 days you'll get gems.

Well I am very sorry to say this,however there is no possible way to earn gems with paying with real money it really does suck add me if you want add icey123 (p.s you can't earn gems on any story game)

I think, I repeat I think, you can download games that will give you some gems. But defiantly there is gem sales that are 20% or 30% off of them.

Keep on ordering the same clothes, an orange line will appear and says 0 on top on the items on each catalog. If you pick the same clothes each day a pink clothe hanger will appear ( 1)
There are 5 levels, shoppaholic and theres this other one I forgot and so on. Lol. Once you filled up the orange line (one hanger) you get 1 gem or maybe 2, $2000 and 20xp

Actually you can! Whenever you open fashion story or any story game, it says download bla bla bla and get 6 gems free! I did it but it eventually stopped asking me because well I dowloaded all of the games, but if theres a new game they will ask you if you want to download!;)

You can earn only a few by the ways already mentioned in the other answers, however you can purchase them with coins. You pay 10,000 for 10 gems or 100,00 for 100 gems. You have to go to the catalog, then press on an empty slot to make new order and on the bottom right corner it shows how many coins you currently have, you press on it and it gives you the option of how many gems you wanna buy.

Um, that last posting is incorrect. Its the other way around. You pay 10 gems to get 10,000 coins. There is no way to purchase gems with coins in the game. Have to use real money. They are too effin expensive also which I think is ridiculous, c'mon really tho, $5.00 for 24 gems n that really doesn't get you much in the game when a freakin table costs 10 gems alone. Each tile is 1 gem.. Crazy. Can we say rip off?!

Yes you can earn gems....I've earned 20. Keep ordering the same thing, once you reach the 2nd and 4th level on that item you get 1 gem. Start with the 1 min clothing first right there is 8 gems.

The ipad version has no option to earn free gems for reaching the second and fourth level. It is on the iphone version I downloaded months ago but not the ipad I downloaded today. No good.

I have learned that the best way to earn gems is by buying the same one item over and over again, and eventually I get gems. In order to do that without having my customers leave me with empty racks I put something in front of the door to block customers from coming in so I can stock up. I usually do this once a day. Im just wondering why it is that once you reach the fourth mastery level the bar stays at four and you can't master it anymore. Or can you and it just goes really slow? Because even though I have all four items in one of the categories mastered to level four the bar on the outside that tells you the name of the category is still empty as if I am still able to fil it. For example. You click on catalog, and find the simply casual set of clothing and the bar before you click on it is empty but once you click on it each item has a bar and those bars are all full. Also I noticed that the nurse costumes are gone now...why is that? I really liked those. Is it because I mastered them all?

Well, I discovered that ordering the same thing over and over again will help you get gems once in a while.

I know how to get more gems is by keep
on orderinq the same clothes untill yuh get promoded cause I've been promoted and I used to have zero gems and know I have 11 gems

Here is a pattern that I picked up with earning gems. Each article of clothing has 4 levels to be mastered. If you keep ordering the same article of clothing you only get the gems on level 2 and sometimes level 4. You get 1 hanger when you order the cloths and you get 3 hangers when you place them on the rack. This is how you know the yellow bar will start to expand. I use an android tablet, so what I do is focus on the cloths that are seasonal, like Christmas or valentines days, etc. I order those cloths like crazy to get the gems before they are taken away for new seasonal items.

Well I know this way by keep buying the same thing for a long time then you will see a message that says "You've been promoted" and you will get 2,000 .. So keep doing that 4 times because sometimes you will get money and sometimes gems.
