I need gems to get coins and elixir, to build dark barracks, to do many upgrades for troops

You can't get unlimited Gems. You can get Trophies, cut down mushrooms, real money, etc to get them, but they're not unlimited.

To get Gems you either have to cut down muxhrooms etc or use apple ID/google play credit to buy them

You can't get unlimited Gems without getting a stupid survey that you can't finish it's stupid but you buy them or look for a gem box or clear Trees, mushrooms etc
