I bought the Candy Cane Maker but when I try to cook on it, it shows it is locked and the GOAL. How do I unlock this?

Ive got my Candy maker complete but I they say I need to ask suger and that things to my neighbours. Now is my question how do I ask suger?? I can't find it txns and if you know The awser please leave The comment on my bakery : jadoremandy thanks again xoxo

I'm having the same problem. I have the candy cane maker and it is assembled but I can't unlock the oven to bake on it. Please help! Sprinky71

The candy cane cake is unlocked by finishing the NEW Goal system that TL has updated this week. I think it is only for iOS users at the moment. But iPad users might still have some compatibility issues at the moment (Which TL is working on).

I've completed 2-3 rounds of these "goals" and NOTHING happens. How many goals do you need to achieve in order to bake a candy cane cake? I completed the marzipan goals without a hitch.

Has anyone actually baked anything on the candy cane oven?

I think the your problems can be solved by completing the quest they give you, (the icons on my phone are on the left hand side) there's a clipboard and candy came those are the quest you need to finish in order to unlock and use the candy cane or marzipan machines.

I think all you guys who are facing the same problem (me either) use iPad and we don't have a quest icon shown to unlock any goals T__T

You have to complete your goals for the candy cane maker to work

You can't cook until you finish the whole goal, like the whole candy cane goal, yea you bought it like they told you to do in the instructions for the goal but you still have to make like all the cupcakes and stuff. Strenuous and tedious yes I kno :p

I think it's annoying how many things you need to bake in the goals just to get the candy cake maker to bake one cake! Need a faster way to finish the lousy goals. They are not fun anymore!

To be able to make the candy cane cake you have to complete all the goals on the candy canes. There are 3 goals to do, with 3 mini goals in the first two and two in the last one.
Currently I am on the first mini goal of the third goal, does anyone know what you have to do for the 2nd mini goal?
There are only 8 dys left until the goals go away so help is needed ASAP.

These goals are ridiculous! They take far too much time to make. 16 hours to make one hot chocolate? Now what happens in 3 days? Do I completely lose that machine because I can't cook on it? They should make these goals a little more realistic! I, too, am about to give up!

I had no goals to accomplish, It just had me get the parts. I'm using an android [Samsung Epic 4G] and I bought the oven along with a marzipan, truffle, fondue and sugar oven. All of them are assembled and at least make one recipe except the candy cane oven. Nothing comes up in the cook book at all for it. So is it touch phone users are getting the option to buy the oven but not use it? -______-

I have an IPhone3G and have exact problem. Cannot make candy cane cake even though I have the stinking oven completely assembled. It continues to be a locked recipe and listed as a goal but no idea how to unlock it. It isn't a goal listed on my clipboard icon either. IF ANYONE HAS ACTUALLY BEEN ABLE TO COOK SOMETHING ON THE CANDY CANE MAKER OVEN, PLEASE TELL US HOW.

After I finished several goals I could make candy canes, and I have stared the first goal towards the cake - I agree that this one is much more tedious than the Marzipan. I wish there was an overview of how many rounds of goals each one would take so I would be more selective!

Do the candy cane goals have an expiry date on them? I haven't been able to make the cake yet just the canes.... Not sure if I've missed the boat!
I can't recall having any candy cane goals...?!?!?

I had that same problem. I just sold the oven cause it was useless

It is probably because you need to complete a goal to get that certain recipe.

U have to complete a goal to get to cook on it. I did not get to the goal yet though.
