there is no way to get gems for free. Only if you want to jailbrake your iphone/ipod. This more than likey will lead to broken devices. Hope I helped!

You can earn 1 gem after you bake one item sevral times you get to level one of the item and get X amount of money but when you cook it alot more you get to level two aand earn 1 gem and you can do that with all the foods.

All that you have to do after download the games they recommend is open this one and wait a few seconds so after this you are able to close it and come bake to your bakery story game. It is the way that they have to obligate you to "play" another games from them. But all you need to do is just open the free app that you had downloaded and close it again. The game Center system will be realized that will has "played" his new game and then when you come bake to your bakery you will have 6 gems more. I hope to be clear, because I'm brazilian, so I don't speak english. sorry about mistakes.

Well they stopped spamming me with theory download this to get 6gems free bcause I always downloaded played and deleted and got. Lot of gems but it took a while for me to get hem where I can see then on my gem chart thing

The only way to get them is the way everyone else is saying. You bake something so many times and get a free gem, or you can download the games that may pop up on screen when you go into the game or the news feed and get free ones, or pay for them! I think they should have somewhere where you can buy the gems with the money you make on the game! I think using your real money is a waste, though you may want to sometimes because you can't have some of the things without it. Like the Ice cream machine unless your neighbors give you the parts as a gift, which I thought find someone and just keep giving each other the gifts to build it.

If you earn a gold level acheivement badge, then you'll earn a gem, but it takes a lot of money or neighbors.

U can get free gems by when you get to level 3 with food and at the beginning of the game they will offer for you to download another Storm8 game and you can get up to 6 gems. Hope this helped!î

@Guest, what I did was I got a VISA Prepaid Card, used it up till I had $0, then I used the no more money card in iTunes and I managed to get 1000 Gems even though I didn't pay. It really works!

And when you want something else you will have to settle that debt first. My son did the same thing thinking he was getting something for free. He now has a locked account with no ability for in app purchases or even iTunes card purchases.

The best way that I have found to increase my gems and stars for FREE is to cook the same desert over and over, until I max out the number of the same desert. For example: When you click on to bake a desert, you should see the number of coins it will cost you to bake it, how many of the bake goods you'll get, how long it will take you to bake it, etc...look at the very bottom of the description of the desert and you should see a chef hat and a long meter to the right of it...if you were to get the meter completed you would get a GEM and lots of STARS. I would start with the brownies first, since it only takes 1 minute to cook...it also helps if you have a lot of stove to cook it with too!

Even if you jailbrake your I-phone/I-pod it still won't get you free gems. The iAP cracker I what you download off Curia to get free money in apps. But iAP cracker doesn't offer it's services to bakery story. Were all outta luck on that one.

Who wants to pay for gems when you can get them free?
All you have to do is download an app called AppTrailers. Once you have it downloaded it will pull up a bunch of app trailers but click on Bonus Code. Type in: balletgirl It may ask you to make an account if it does do it only takes two minutes! After account type in: balletgirl again and you will get points! Keep getting points and you will be able to redeem iTunes cards!

The best way I found was to install their other apps, and after that a goal would pop up- for example asking you to buy a chair- which would give rewards of 3-6 gems.
Another way is to make the same foods over and over again until you get to level 3 and 4- this will give you 1 free gem each time plus a heap of xp

Best way to earn Gems is when your neighbor gifts you under speciality gifts. If you have good amount of neighbors like 200+ recommend them to send you just gems. Also, cooking your favorite dish multiple times can earn you both 1 gem, exp and cash. Tipping can also get you gems too! Playing Bubble mania challenging your component can earn you gems to all the other games as well, I know in Farm Story which I believ is the easiest to earn and save gems! . Fashion story, playing the storylines, expanding your store, buying multiples of clothes, liking other shops, and Get gold badges will earn you gems, money, exp, free clothes.

Make sure that your social life is at it's max for new neighbors to invite you and give you free things including Gems.

When you get a gold badge ( I have 2 and I'm only level 13 cause they r easy 2 get ) you get 1 or 2 gems free!

Okay, first to to a oven, and then click on a food that is a level 2, then make it and immediately click start a new dish (make sure you have at least 105,000 coins or more) then make it and click it again start a new dish then click the 1st one you did then click make new dish and then make the 2nd one and do it until you get to the level 3 on it and it gives you a gem! Tried both iap and localapstore 1.01 from cydia with no luck. They require receipts in iTunes thus any dns re direct in app crack will not work.
