The Door Trick. ;D

Let's say you don't have any food on display, and you're still cooking some... You don't want a bad rating, right? Well, you don't have to have one. Go to the decorate screen and then put something in front of the door (like a counter). Customers can't get in, and you keep your rating. :P

I'm on level 14, so I can finally buy another appliance. I'm wondering if I should buy an "easy oven" or another coffee machine one. I just don't want to be stuck with only one choice in level 14. And the wrong choice at that if I'm only allowed to buy one appliance for now until I hit the next allowable but faze. Advice please!!!!! Oh and I tip and gift daily as well!

I have never shut my bakery down. I have 6 stacks of food at over 100K and the rest around 60-80K. I have two doors on my cafe and put tables close to those doors to serve and turn over customers much more quickly. I generate over 150K per day in coins and have never paid real money to obtain anything on the game. I currently have 1.5M in coins and working on my $2M expansion.

You want to keep your food supply? It's not the door trick. Take your chairs out and put them in storage. Keep your hearts up at the same time by blocking the door. No place to sit and eat...no food goes away.

I love the door trick, it helps for when I have to suspend myself from the game or I go on hiatus for humane reasons lol.

And it helps tons when to stock up before I go on a short-term leave which allows me to leave my bakery open and maintain my normal stats.

Which btw, I'm a dedicated player so making 3.5M is normal as well as being a popular store.

I live for the door trick; works perfectly for me, and my bakery is very popular because I spend weeks with my door closed, then open till I run out of stock then repeat. (I currently have over 1.3 million dollars in my bank on the game...) try it, it works!!!

i dont worry about bad ratings...bc like a previous comments says it only take one batch of brownies to give u 100 hearts and that only takes a minute to cook...here's a trick i do when i run out of food...i let my ratings go down to 30-40 hearts...close my bakery w/ the door trick ...cook my food from longest cooking times to the shortest...fill my counters... ur food will still sell but not as much bc ur ratings are low...it will probably take a day to fill up on food...but it is worth it bc ur bakery can stay open for a longer time while u just add on to what u have...hope this helps..ps i also use this trick for restuarant story...i would say add me but i have toooo many neighbors, but the name of my bakery is Jr's Bakery...if u see me in the community stop by and tip i will tip back...

What is wrong with a bad rating? Even if your rating falls all the way to 0, it only takes 100 customers to get it all the way up again - that's 1 order of 1-minute brownies.
If you have nothing to sell, your rating doesn't really matter does it? Once you put some food out, you'll be back up to 100 in no time.
Can someone explain this?

When you close the app/logout the server still treats your store as if you're receiving customers...in order for this trick to work you have to stay on that screen...it does allow for you to cook and build up your surplus....if you leave or go to other people's bakeries it will act as though customers have come when you return....nobody "stole" your food, you should have been notified of how much $ you made when you logged back on. Luck!
